On Friday March 8, 2019, coinciding with the Mendoza Harvest Festival, Cavas Wine Lodge´s Chef Ivan Azar is welcoming Chef Mark James from the UK for a gastronomic feast to celebrate the delights of joie de vivre at grape picking time in Mendoza Argentina. Chef Mark James is currently the private chef of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. He started his career in Australia where he worked in the Sydney Olympics. Hungry for international experience he moved to London where he worked for 5 star hotels and Michelin star restaurants during a 10 year period. In 2010 he moved to Russia and also traveled and worked in Tailand and Africa. In 2015 he moved back to London, and soon after he started Epicure Elite with his passion for Food, Wine and Travel. In Mendoza Mark James will do a pop up dinner with Cavas Wine Lodge´s team, using the freshest seasonal ingredients such as figs, pomegranates and quince. A 4 course dinner paired with DECERO Wines that will take place on Friday March 8th. He will also prepare a special lunch at the nearby award-winning Decero Winery on Sunday March 10, 2019
