Treat your mother to an indulgent afternoon tea with delicious canapes and a glass of sparkling wine. Tea will be enjoyed in the historic surrounds of Otahuna's Ballroom, with its vaulted ceiling and roaring, open fire.

Following the tea service, Lodge owners Hall Cannon and Miles Refo will offer a detailed tour of the interior of the Victorian homestead, highlighting the history of the estate and the remarkable people for whom it was built -- Sir Heaton and Lady Jessie Rhodes. The tour will also showcase the celebrated architecture and interior design of this iconic Canterbury landmark, exploring the public rooms and several of the private bedroom suites.

Guests are welcome to conclude their visit with a self-guided tour of Otahuna's renowned, century-old gardens.
